Apotheosis Interplanetary Transport
Need to transport your Kerbals around the Kerbol system in enough space to allow them to move around comfortably and observe the planets? Lets reach “Apotheosis” Interplanetary Transport.
This transport ship comes with a inner gravity ring to simulate 1 G for your kerbals so they can eat, sleep and exercise.
32minutes and 18.8 seconds of burn time on 9 Nerv nuclear engines at full fuel capacity enough to get you to and back from anywhere around Kerbol system. Comes with a next gen Nerv Nuclear lander with a 13 minute 4.4 second burn time. Enough to get you off lower gravity planets (tested on Minmus and Mun but enough DV to get you also off Duna.
Will come with a dedicated launcher system (make sure to build faring *1 integrated*to make it more aerodynamic) to get this beauty off planet. With a few flight instructions,
Make sure before attempting to turn at around a 40-45* angle that your speed get it past super sonic around 350-400 m/s. (if you don’t Kraken will attack and we all know how defenseless you can feel when that happens!)
I recommend to get the initial height of around 150 km and circularize. Don’t be afraid if you start to slow down using the Nerv engines it will be enough DV to do so (starting Dv is just under 5000). (it will be around 0.14-0.15 DV. If you want to be safer you can always lower the LQ fuel and refuel if you are for the faint of heart. (I love the challenge)
