Overview
Based around the Armstrong Whitworth AW.660, but with two turbofans instead instead of fours propellers. At 85 tons, this long range cargo plane performs surprisingly well for it being my first try at a stock replica.
Details
- Type: SPH
- Class: aircraft
- Part Count: 166
- Pure Stock
- KSP: 1.12.2

Performance
Not the fastest plane for sure, but it can maintain around 182 m/s at level flight in low altitude.
It likes to pull up by itself, but SAS can handle it, and there’s tons of ballast in the tail section to play with.
There’s no problems with high G turns, since in general it feels a bit sluggish but stable. Can travel at 4x time speed without it collapsing on itself, but don’t touch the controls too much.
Stall speed at around 42 m/s, and also it’s recommended to use the thrust reverser to stop when landing, because the medium landing gear can’t do much about it’s weight (haven’t unlocked the big ones yet on career)
