This vehicle is designed to use with Stock RemoteTech as a Command Station. With two Medium Range communication satellites and a crew of six Kerbals and worry not about 9 minute signal relay times!!

While any ol' pilot can get this puppy well into Duna Orbit, if Orbital Diving, Aerocapture and Aerobraking maneuvers are used, one can get this into an orbit perfect for Comms relay (as demonstrated by the last picture!)
