Description
Here is the latest rendition of the I2 Dream Chaser, Block 7. This dream machine has gotten a little bit of a face lift to look and fly a bit more like the real Dream Chaser shuttle by Sierra Nevada Corporation. Additionally, I have implemented true split elevons like the real thing! The top mounted control surfaces only actuate upward while the lower control surfaces only actuate downward. Should be fairly easy to fly 6-7 kerbals to LKO or MKO destinations. The only note is that this shuttle utilizes a lot of body lift and as such you should not try to land with more than half of your fuel remaining - use the fuel dump engines while on-orbit to get rid of access fuel before reentry. Enjoy!
P.S.: This particular craft file is only the shuttle, not the abort system or upper stage shown.
A stock aircraft called Dream Chaser Blk VII. Built with 110 of the finest parts, its root part is dockingPort2.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.7.3.
