stock+DLC lander

Description

A stock aircraft called DAEDALUS KerbalX. Built with 317 of the finest parts, its root part is Decoupler.2.

Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.12.3.

Inspired by NASA’s Constellation architecture Mars lander, DAEDALUS (Duna Advanced Exploration Decent Ascent Lander Utility System) is an integrated and versatile lander for landing Kerbals and support equipment onto the surface of the Mun, Minmus, and Duna.

DAEDALUS is ~29.3 mT without payload and is capable of moving up to 15 mT from LKO direct to Munar surface landing. The lander has 3 payload integration options:

1) The largest payload capacity is in the center of the vehicle and is large enough to comfortably fit a MK2 Lander Can in its alternative slim configuration. This central payload integration point has versatile support structures allowing the vehicle to remove any of them to support wider or taller payloads. Additionally, the top dorsal support structure can be remove to allow for an ascent vehicle to be integrated for Kerbonauts to take off from the Mun

2 and 3) On either end of the lander are two small payload integration points allowing for rovers, small crew cabins, additional propellant, etc. to be integrated. This particular craft file has a small exploration rover at each of these points.

The landing gear are deployable and controlled by a KAL. Space bar toggles the landing gear robotic parts to lock/unlock.
