A stock rocket called Silo. Built with 92 of the finest parts, its root part is cupola.
Lift off from KSC on a purpose-built booster and go orbital or sub-orbital. About 210 degrees before the target, lower the periapsis to 50km – which will be over a point about 350km short of your target.
At that 50km altitude, burn all remaining OX with equivalent LF retrograde for the final deceleration and then turn prograde. Under 1 km/sec begin gentle maneuvering for level flight. The Goliaths should light at 10km. Find a cruise altitude between 3-6km and proceed to your target. Shed the wings/engines and pop the chutes.
Once on the ground, use Down (K) to fold out the docks. Drive your airplanes up over a claw and retract your front gear to dock and then exchange fuel and passengers.
This is my first attempt at robotics and also my first craft to make it into 1.7.3 for publication.
