Description

A stock WMD called Sidewinder. Built in the KSP 1.11.2 SPH with 13 stock parts.

Sidewinder may be surface-launched (i.e. carrier deck) or air-mounted.

279m/s @ 7.5km for a range of almost 300 km with top speed M.9 delivering a blow with pinpoint accuracy makes it an effect Cruise missile.

Sidewinder can even be safely landed (but why would you want to do that??) with some patience and the pendulum swing technique. (This might be an effective way to replenish missile stores on a carrier.)

For aerial combat (air-to-air), the most effective technique is probably to get directly behind the target and mimic its course and altitude, select SAS Target and then put the hammer down…
