Description
7:drain S1/gear 8:xfeed B:spoilers
A new lifter for 2.5 and 3.75m upper stages with inbuilt fairing: MaxQ. Rated for payloads up to 64t.
Two new initiatives in 2024:
- all-recoverable lifters
- classification of lifters by TWR, dV, payload mass metrics
The upper ADTP-2-3 adapter may be replaced by a Mk3 to 3.75m adapter and connected with a 3.75m separator, when desired.
NOTES:
- [8] payload xfeed is OFF by default
- pitch down 5 deg at 70 m/s and raise PA to 75km
- [B] deploys the tail fins for contra-rotation during the deorbital descent. [7] drains LFOX and lowers a solo landing gear for touch-down. (You may rebind this key however you like.)
- (ensure [8] xfeed is OFF before draining!)
- recovery rate is better than 90%.
Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.11.2.
ECO 2024-01-12 added S3-3600 & X200-16 to balance thrust & fuel. 64t to 75km
