Description
A subassembly named Jansen Omnidock. Built with 3 of the finest parts, its root part is dockingPortLarge.
This is a 3-part rendition of the Clamp-O-Tron Omni, eliminating the 200Kg battery base part.
Attach the sub-assembly to your craft (e.g. space station). You can then dock with any other port: small, medium or large. (NB: when docking two Omnidocks together, you may need to use camera zoom to find and undock the smaller (internal, hidden) docks in order to accomplish complete separation.)
ECO 2021-03-06 tuned tolerances for outer dock priority in docking. Bound the Set 1 Abort key to an emergency release (of all Omnidocks)
ECO 2022-06-15 magnetic acquisition now zero (this was the cause of apparent lockups!)
