An intelligent
tank named Intellitank. Built in the KSP 1.11.2 VAB with 56 parts.
I enjoyed building 1x standard payload named Orangutan recently. It had the capability, once docked to a space station, to eject itself into a de-orbit and land safely on the surface for recovery. What fun?!
, I thought.
With Intellitank, I decided to go nuts. If you take this to space, it will do the rest! Rendez-vous, dock, refuel, recycle…
Ascent:
- SAS Sfc Hold; pin both tanks open; ignition
- 30m/s SAS Sfc PRO
- 8km SAS Orb PRO
- make AP:72km and coast
- jettison fairings at 50km
- pump fuel from upper tank to lower tank and begin the circularization after 70km
- whenever desired, cut-off; pump fuel back to Intellitank
- stage and then continue circ
- switch back to S1 Minimus and ride it down for recovery
Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.11.2.
