Description
The original, remounted atop a Dreadnought, now zips to space – and retains a Rhino to help put it in station, either in LKO, or at some further-distant location.
Hedgehog 2 employs a 3.75m fairing to shield it during the very zippy trip to space. It is also equipped with full RCS to assist it maneuver to dock.
The Dreadnought S2 is recoverable; just remember to set the brakes before jettisoning it. Operating Procedures Handbook suggests jettison when PE is brought up to NEG 300 km…
The Dreadnought S3 Rhino is also recoverable, when & if you decide to jettison it.
