Goblin is one of my MVP stalwarts and, after nearly 4 years of faithful service, it was due for an upgrade.
Mounted on the latest Zephyr, it features medium-capacity production and is tuned for the finest ore fields.
My trusty VAB mechanics have stripped down some weight to serve those Joule-counters better…
It features the H6 standardized control system for mining on a combination of three keys: [1] deploy drills [2] deploy radiators; toggle fuel cells; toggle harvesting [3] refine LF/OX. This allows refining to be carried out in space by skipping the [1] step.
In addition, it provides mobile accommodation for up to 16 Kerbals.
Comes equipped, also, with a Ladybug explorer.
Can be sent interplanetary by attaching an Transfer Injection Booster (e.g. Mule and/or Escort) to its top dock.
Chutes to aid landing on Kerbin, Duna and Laythe…
