193 m/s at 5.3km with 42.6 deg pitch. Keypad ‘*’ and ‘/’ control fan blade pitch.
A pleasure to fly! Landing, not so much, but use blade pitch in the flare, plus the tail chute to good effect, to kill that desire to continue flying… Haven’t measured the stall speed (which will vary with altitude) but slowing in a flat approach with a nose-up position will help. Level out, throw the chute and go into negative pitch. (Words to that effect.)
CAUTION: even the slightly reduced 420 rpm limit on the port for'ard engine can sometimes be a strain, so keep an eye on it and be prepared to slightly reduce thrust if you see KSP fizzic effects. I’ll be likely reducing this standard engine (nod to Rade) to my own 36-blade version.
