I really did not want to stink up a simple, elegant concept (such as might come straight out of a chicken) with bells and whistles, but: Egg is going interplanetary!
It is now launched atop a Dreadnought lifter and has the ability to retain the Stage-III Rhino. Enhanced RCS for docking with a set of Twitch brakes for final arrest on dock approach. And HG-55 comms. Command & control for 2 Krew.
The launch numbers on this are 60 m/s and 80 km. (Pitch downrange 5 deg accelerating through 60 m/s and then raise AP to 80 km.) Jettison S1 only when AP has been raised to 80km. Jettison S2 only when PE has been raised to NEG 300 km.
You’ll arrive in LKO with about 5.5 km/s dV. (Do also checkout the Dreadnought launch & recovery procedures.)
Built in the KSP 1.11.2 VAB with 105 stock parts.
