Description
A museum piece code-named Doodlebug. Built in the KSP 1.7.3 SPH with 33 stock parts.
I found this while cleaning out my Lab SPH folder of works-in-progress. No idea how it got there…
It cruises at 180 m/s (400 mph) and has a range well in excess of 1,000 km, if you can wait that long.
Launch Instructions:
- use low Juno thrust to maneuver vehicle onto target bearing
- set the brakes and spool up the puny Juno to full thrust
- set SAS Hold in Sfc mode
- release the brakes and light the departure fuse (stage 2)
- weapon will auto-liftoff and climb
- separate rocket cart (stage 3) reaching 150 m/s
- level off
- while maneuvering, don’t let speed go below 120 m/s
