Ho boy! You knew this was coming: Deep-S!!

I have kept my original, compact layout of the Deep undersea miner, only prettifying it cosmetically, shamelessly plagiarizing detailed jewels from the Master. I have then inserted it into the truly wonderful – and supersonic! – Chrysalis transporter, also provided by Dr Swiss.

The price I’ve paid – the big gap between Deep-R and Deep-S, is that the payload may not be air-dropped by the latter. One must splash down and then release the payload on the tranquil surface. The only use of the chutes is to slow ascent/descent before reaching the surface or seabed, if required.

For those wondering now, there will not likely be a future Deep-T; nein:

Heep-T Deep-T dove too far,
Heep-T Deep-T broke-a-part;
All the Navy’s subs and men,
Couldn’t raise Deep-T up again!
