Description

Aquila Cruise is a guided vessel to be de-orbited, flown low to its target and then dropped in by chute for a pinpoint landing.

It then serves as the control tower for a hub airport recognized by the KSP Telemagic
add-on". Telemagic will refuel any craft parked on the tower’s refueling apron.

Deorbit: lower periapsis to 40km over the target using Twitch engines and shutdown;¨ramp up Wheelseys at 10-15km and establish level flight to the target;¨nearing the target < 5km alt. idle engines fully then AG0 to jettison wings and engines;¨stage the tail chutes to arrest forward flight;¨guide the vessel to the target;¨deploy main chutes > 1km above target.¨AG9 to deploy panels and antenna.¨AG8 to cutaway¨
