Description
A stock airport monocycle called AFF Scooter. Built with 6 of the finest parts, its root part is probeCoreOcto2.v2.
I’ll give all the credit to AFF, for this one. The original was mono-propelled but it was one of our lab rats here at KSC, Segway Kerman, who discovered it could be powered by the reaction wheel alone. (And, of course, some natural fission.)
Activate SAS with Radial Out and it will stand to attention pretty much in Neutral. Don helmet, mount the scooter, tap ‘F’ for SAS Hold and then lean it forward, ‘W’, or backward,‘S’, to accelerate or decelerate. Attaining the desired speed, revert to Radial Out, which will also allow you to corner, ‘E’ for left turns and ‘Q’ for right.
You can carefully lean back on the wheel guard to skitter to a faster stop, should some stray animal cross your path.
