Description
An almost-stock heavy launcher concept called ‘Heavy Modular Launcher’. The only non-stock part in this craft is the 6-person Science Lab in the payload, which is a Heavy Asteroid Dart class asteroid hunter.
The lifter is a modular concept, consisting of a shielded cradle for the payload, and a maximum of 10 click-on side boosters providing all of the lift, especially effective when set up to do asparagus staging (as in this craft file).
It should be rated for payloads of 500 plus tonnes. The lifter plus payload have 874 parts, and was built in the VAB in KSP version 1.7.2, with the Making History and Breaking Ground DLC’s installed.
