Hello! Hope you enjoy my first craft on KerbalX (even if it’s from a few weeks ago)
Link to the original post on the KSP forums:
This is my stock replica for the Spitfire for one of the most famous aircraft of WW2.
Unlike most replicas for the Spitfire, mine has a stock propeller.
Top Speed: 78m/s (sea level), 87m/s (3000-4000m)
Top Speed (in a dive): 120-130m/s (depends on altitude and angle
Stall Speed: around about 19-20m/s
Takeoff Speed: around about 20-21m/s
Climb Rate: 10-15m/s
1: Decouple the propeller from the craft
2: Turn on SAS for the main craft, but not the propeller
3: Switch to propeller (using [ ] keys)
4: Hold down ALT + E until the roll meter is completely to the right
5: Wait until the aircraft takes off
6: Fly like normal, but avoid dipping below 20m/s.
Do you really want to downvote this?
Don't forget, people build craft at all skill levels, just 'cos something is 'newbish' doesn't mean it needs hatin'.
It will cost you 5 of your own points to downvote
