I’m honestly surprised I don’t see many P-38s actually. The shape isn’t too hard to build and almost anyone with a brain and knowledge with stock props can build it x) Anyway! I’m really happy with how this one turned out! It both looks good, and flies well with a top speed of about 90m/s on the deck. Hope you enjoy it!
I suspect this thing flies so well since it uses engines I typically use on heavy bombers on a lighter, smaller airframe!
Instructions
1: Decouple the propellers from the craft
2: Turn on SAS for the main craft and the top gunner, but not the propellers
3: Switch to propellers (using [ ] keys)
4: Hold down ALT + Q until the roll meter is completely to the right (Do this for the propeller on the LEFT)
5: Switch to other propeller
6: Hold down ALT + Q until the roll meter is completely to the right (Do this for the propeller on the RIGHT)
7: Rotate at 30-40m/s
6: Fly like normal, but avoid dipping below 30m/s.
Top Speed: 90m/s ASL
Top Speed: 190-200m/s
Stall Speed: 25-30m/s
Takeoff Speed: 35m/s
Climb Rate: 15-20m/s
