Description
A submission to the Regional Jet Challenge in the Supersonic Jet
Category. This aircraft is capable of circumnavigating the planet in about an hour and 10 minutes.
UPDATE: Just added some autostrut to a few more parts and removed steering for the back wheels.
Instructions
When Climbing:
1: Climb at 15 degrees with full throttle.
2: When at just before 15km alt, lower the throttle to 2/3rds and reduce the climb angle to 10 degrees.
3: When at 20k alt, start to lower the throttle to about half then further reduce climb to level flight.
4: When a speed beyond 1050m/s is achieved, lower the throttle down to slightly above 1/3rd (this will be the cruise throttle)
When in Cruise:
1: When at 20km alt (or slightly above) keep the aircraft at level flight.
2: The aircraft should both reduce altitude and increase speed.
3: The aircraft should naturally begin to climb.
4: When back at 20km alt (or slightly above) go back to level flight.
5: Repeat steps 1-4 until you have arrived at your destination
