The Gladiator is one of my favourite fighters of WW2 and is also my screensaver on my computer! I enjoyed making this one a lot, and it’s probably the best handling aircraft I’ve made so far despite it weighing 9 tonnes. Surprisingly, it’s also one of the fastest replicas I’ve made in a dive (most likely due to it’s weight). I hope to make more biplanes in the future.
Instructions
1: Decouple the propeller from the craft.
2: Turn on SAS for the main craft, but not the propeller
3: Switch to propeller (using [ ] keys)
4: Hold down ALT + E until the roll meter is completely to the right
5: Wait until the aircraft takes off
6: Fly like normal, but avoid dipping below 20m/s.
Top Speed: 73m/s (ASL) 77m/s (3000m)
Top Speed (In a dive): 150m/s
Stall Speed: 15-20m/s
Takeoff Speed: 22m/s
Climb Rate: 10-15m/s
