Hello again! I’ve decided to go out of my comfort zone of inline engined fighters by making the zero; which has a radial engine. I think I’ve done a pretty good job, and it’s definitely better than my first attempt at building a Zero (which is here: https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/163764-the-mitsubishi-a6m-zero-fully-stock/&tab=comments#comment-3132531 )
Instructions
1: Decouple the propeller from the craft
2: Turn on SAS for the main craft, but not the propeller
3: Switch to propeller (using [ ] keys)
4: Hold down ALT + E until the roll meter is completely to the right
5: Wait until the aircraft takes off
6: Fly like normal, but avoid dipping below 20m/s.
-On rough terrain, I’d recommend setting trim for pitch on takeoff as the clearance of the propeller is quite low.
-For extra maneuverability, I’d recommend setting the control surfaces to 150. (This may impact the speed)
Top Speed: Roughly 72.4m/s (however at high altitudes this is closer to 80 even 90m/s)
Top Speed (In a dive): 120m/s (depends on altitude and angle)
Takeoff Speed: 26m/s (which is actually quite high for most of my fighters)
Stall Speed: 23-25m/s
Climb Rate: 10-15m/s
