［日本語］HFI-63 レグルス Vは、ホクシン重工業（HHI）株式会社が開発した、3機目の第6世代戦闘機です。本機は、HFI-62S ネオ・レグルス IVをベースに、小型化され、J-404エンジンを採用した機体です。

HFI-63 レグルス Vは、飛行時の安定性ではHFI-62S ネオ・レグルス IVにやや劣りますが、反面において運動性能では同機より優れています。また、小型化したことによって燃費も改善し、燃料搭載量も同機よりやや多いため、最大航続距離が実測値で6000kmと圧倒的に改善されています。

そして、HFI-63AMD レグルス V（武装型）は、上記のHFI-63 レグルス V に武装を施した機体であり、全てMOD「BDArmory」を使用しています。本機は固定武装として20mm機関銃を採用しており、また、ステルス性を確保したウェポンベイには3発から5発のミサイルが搭載できます。さらに、両翼下にもミサイルレールの取り付けとミサイル搭載が可能です。

無人戦闘機である、HD-7AMD デネボラ I（武装型）やHD-8SAMD ネオ・デネボラ II（武装型）と連携した戦闘も可能です。

[English] HFI-63 Regulus V is the third 6th-generation fighter developed by Hokushin Heavy Industries (HHI) Co., Ltd. Based on HFI-62S NEO Regulus IV, this aircraft is designed to be smaller than it and two J-404 Panther engines is used as main engines of HFI-63.
HFI-63 is slightly inferior to HFI-62S in terms of stability, but on the other hand, it is superior in terms of maneuverability. In addition, its smaller size has improved fuel efficiency, and its fuel capacity is slightly higher than that of HFI-62S, resulting in an overwhelming improvement in maximum cruising distance of 6,000 km in actual flight measurements.

HFI-63AMD Regulus V Armed is an armed version of the HFI-63. All weapon of this fighter are provided by BDArmory. A 20mm machine gun Vulcan is used as a fixed armament, and can also carry 3~5 missiles in its stealthy fuselage weapon bay. In addition, missile rails can be attached and missiles can be mounted under both wings.

This fighter is also capable of coordinated combat with unmanned fighter (so-called Loyal Wingman) HD-7AMD Denebola I Armed or HD-8SAMD NEO Denebola II Armed.
