Hey so a quick authors note: idk why but I felt like I should say something here considering I have updated this aircraft what must truly be the final time (I did a bunch of modifications about a yyear ago that I never uploaded making the intakes to make them more realistic, additionally if you deploy the brakes then intakes on the bottom will open as if you’re in a stall scenario). over the course of four years this aircraft has been a pure passion of mine, so to come to a conclusion with it is really something bitter sweet. This was always more than just a KSP craft, what you see here is me trying to replicate an idea I’ve had in my head and make it feel like that craft. as I move froward with my life I want you to know that your dreams never really die, as you move on they just evolve into different things, always walking with you. Like things stock? No Problem. This is the base model for the F-01 Stallion. Each aircraft in merlin squadron has its own story to tell. but what about yours? well dont just sit there, GET ONE UP ALREADY. I’ve made a number of models prior to this one but I’ve never really been satisifed until now. Appart from major body work modifactions to the engine casings and wings (and smoothing in other parts) the engines were overhauled, now she cruises at a higher speed and is much more efficient aswell. Here max range is aproxamatle 1,200km. To put that into perspective she can fly nonstop from the Making History desert airfield to KSC. or for those who dont have the DLC she can fly acrossed the sea next to KSC and back with fuel to spare.
