No Runway? No Problem!
The ZeLL ot Zero Lengh Launch concept was thought as a concept to launch a nuclear retaliation strike even if the first strike of the enemy had destroyed the airfields. The real ZeLL tests were conducted with F-84G, F-100 and the F-104G. In the replica I used my F-104C beause it has an ejection seat.
For Takeoff with the ZeLL system, stage the engine and give it time to spool up. Then stage again to ignite the booster, pitch level and once the booster burned out stage to jettison it.
The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter was a single-engine, supersonic interceptor aircraft which later became widely used as an attack aircraft.
Mine is a replica of an old F104 C using the C1 ejections seat which ejects downwards so be careful ejecting at low altitudes.
After ejecting using [ABORT (Backspace) ] click the Kerbal, then leave seat and deploy chute.
Ag1 moves flaps
Ag2 moves leading edges
Good luck
