Description
The F-15 ACTIVE aka S/MDT was a research version of the F-15 Eagle fitted with canards and thrust vectoring. It never made it into production, but the developements made went on to be used in other planes.
The replica was originally made for Fighter Jet Showdown so it’s optimized for low part count and very sturdy. It also features quite insane maneuverability and is overall a huge fun to fly around.
The screenshots above may just be the most beautiful shots I ever made.
Action Groups: RCS for Afterburners, 1 for Flaps.
A stock aircraft called F-15 ACTIVE KerbalScale. Built with 123 of the finest parts, its root part is miniFuselage.
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.8.1.
