Description

A stock aircraft called Beriev 200. Built with 54 of the finest parts, its root part is mk3Cockpit.Shuttle.

Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.0.5.

This model is inspired by real life Beriev Be-200 seaplane (https://hushkit.files.wordpress.com/2012/12/beriev.jpg), not trying to be an exact copy but rather a fun model to play with.

It’s actually an amphibian craft, since it also has landing gear and can land and take off both from water and ground. Lights allow it to operate day and night too.

Absolute ceiling is upwards of 10km, and operative ceiling is 8km, with a top speed of 240m/s (M0.8) at that altitude.

Flies well, it doesn’t require use of SAS to fly, only minor pitch trim adjustments depending on flight speed.
