Description
The L133 is a case of what could have been. Its design began in 1939 would see a number of advanced features such as the blended body/wing concept, jet propulsion and canard/aft wing configuration. When Lockheed approached the Army Air Corps in 1942 it was deemed to ambitious and was rejected. While none were built, the practice did serve well in the design of the P-80 Shooting Star.
This recreation is more or less to scale and tuned to fly with the correct performance.
