The Kaman KH-43 Korgie,
an easy to fly, general purpose synchropter (intermeshing main rotors). I rigged up actual synchronization gearing. Despite having so many moving parts, its been balanced well enough to fly with a keyboard. Sporting two main rotors it has a generous lifting capacity and a top speed of 55 m/s (apx 120 mph/193kph).
For such a derpy looking aircraft, its got really long legs. I manually flew this craft over 205 miles on half a tank of gas: throug deserts, over mountains and across the planes on a trip from Area 110011 to KSC 2 Spacplane Base (bases added via Kerbinside and Kerbal Konstructs Mods).
Controls:
AG 1: Toggle Fuel Cells and flashing indicator lights.
AG 5: Toggles search lights.
I/K: Increase or decrease Rotor pitch. Flight is possible between +1.5 and +10 degrees pitch. For normal flight +4-5 degrees seems to work best.
J/L: Swivel front search light.
