The mother of modern mono-wing aircraft built by mother Russia herself. First built in the early 1930s, it was continuously upgraded and saw service all through WWII. It was notable for including a fully enclosed cockpit, low wing and retractable landing gear.

-Mine is made with a reasonable parts count, has a decent top speed of around 130 m/s.

-For normal control schemes, throttle controls engine torque, I/K controls propeller pitch, AG 1 starts the fuel cells. Gear retracts with a normal gear button press.

-Torque is an issue on takeoff, as with all single engine propeller aircraft. Set the propeller to 22 degress and throttle up to 1/3 power. Pitch up and apply rudder (this aircraft is quite maneuverable but side-slippery on takeoff).

-Gradually increase propeller pitch to a maximum of about 40 degrees.
