IMPORTANT
-This craft file has both tracks mounted as separate modules.
-Save each side as separate sub-assemblies (i.e. one sub-assambly for the left track pod, one for the right track pod) and mount each one individually.
-All basic controls are already mapped (save for individual breaking/reverse controls).
-The root part for each module is the forward I-Beam (opposite end from the pistons).
A simple
set of stock+ tank tracks developed for general purpose use. While these are fairly easy to use and quite durable (for a KSP track anyway) the max safe speed is 12m/s, any faster and you risk causing failure. Reduce speed before going up and down obstacles.
AG 1: Tension tracks, decouple tracks from frame, enable motor power (set throttle to zero before enabling).
AG 2: Toggle motors forward/reverse.
AG 4: Toggle motor engaged for left track to turn left (allows un-powered free spinning).
AG 5: Toggle motor engaged for right track to turn right (allows un-powered free spinning).
For best results, come to a complete stop before maneuvering or reduce speed to below 6m/s, disengage motors in desired direction and accelerate until desired turn speed is achieved.
