The Kerbalcast VTOL as described in Episode 9 of Freetoss Flight Fundamentals, part of Kerbalcast Episode 53. A link will be provided once the podcast goes live.
This VTOL is capable of both vertical and horizontal takeoff and landing. It functions with both stock and FAR aerodynamics, though it works better in stock. The probe core is intended to help with vertical landings by switching control to it instead of the cockpit.
Action Group 1: Toggle Cargo Bay (must be open for vertical engine to function)
Action Group 2: Toggle Vertically-mounted Jet Engine
Action Group 3: Toggle Horizontally-mounted Turbojet Engine
Action Group 4: Toggle Brakes (wheels only. The
B key will also activate the Airbrakes)
Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.0.2.
