Description

A mod aircraft called Gryphon Type4. Is a drone cargo lifter. Built with 130 of the finest parts, its root part is mk3FuselageLFO.25.

Originally designed to lift in excess of 40 tonnes to LKO, and maneuver to rendezvous position. And have excess power to reach supersonic speed and ascend rapidly.

Use RAPIER closed cycle only shortly when loaded with 30 or more tonnes. rely on Aerospike for rocket ascent. Unstable when empty, pump all excess fuel to front tanks before reentry. otherwise controllable and responsive on ascent with any cargo loading.

Fuel loading is realistic. IE; clipped wing sections and tanks containing fuel are balanced to compensate for sharing space, taking into account structural parts which normally don’t contain fuel. If realism doesn’t matter so much to you, around 500 more units can be added to the intended total before liftoff.
