Description
Cynthia is a luxury freighter
refueling SSTO designed to maximize form, function, and ease of use. It carries a full orange tank probe with docking ports at both ends and RCS thrusters for rendezvous with a space station orbiting Kerbin. Cynthia’s inclined wings enable a gradual atmospheric climb from sea level to the upper atmosphere using purely SAS prograde orientation for the entire climb (positive prograde lift begins at 550 m/s at sea level), and careful fuel and payload distribution allows stable, responsive flight regardless of remaining fuel, without requiring any fuel redistribution. De-orbiting is forgiving and largely automatic, requiring only a steep angle of atmospheric re-entry (self-correcting with drag). Built with 108 of the finest parts, its root part is mk3CargoBayL.
The ladder doesn’t reach all the way down, so retract the landing gears too if you want Jeb to get out! :)
