Description
The Republic F-86M Sabre was documented back in the days when Frontinco didn’t have appropriate photography and documenting skills (cough cough), hence shots weren’t really as beautiful and little was known about this airframe, except…

Welcome to the Kerbal Memory Lane.
Just kidding.
.
In the 1970s, Kerbin Air Force slowly began retiring their North American F-86 Sabres. Then, in 1994, Frontinco saw the opportunity to modernize the F-86 Sabres. Upon agreement with Kerbin Air Force, Frontinco started converting a unit by adding a dorsal extension to the tail fin, replacing the single General Electric J47 turbojet with a General Electric-C7 J-404 Panther afterburning turbofan and widening the wing root.
.
Later in 1985, Frontinco was called again for a replacement of their slowly-getting-obsolete F-86M, which they’ve announced as F-86MA, a more modernized variant.

TBH this plane is from my early days getting involved in the forum thread What did you do in KSP today?
and this is my first plane I’ve ever showcased there. Back then I never knew one can adjust the FOV (Alt+Mousewheel) and give a screenshot more natural look, so apologize for the lack of documentation and bad shots.

I mean, I feel like I wanna share that post here but it’s midnight by the time and place I posted this and I have to get to sleep.
.
(Actually I have more pictures than these, but those are just some boring approach and landing pictures that, honestly, look like taken by a noob. But for those who’d really like to take a look at those, here you are)

[But then I’m not asking for sympathy here. K?]
