Description

Built for the Build and Fly a Mk2.5 Shuttle challenge.

Instructions:

Activate RCS + SAS

Launch (fly similar to how you would a normal rocket, but keep in mind thrust vector is not dead center, and you have wings)

Stage when boosters burn out

Use AG 3 to ditch the external tank and light the OMS engines. You will need to unlock the fuel tanks at the back of the orbiter. They’re locked to prevent them from draining while the tank is attached.

Make sure all the LfOx is burned before entering the atmosphere, otherwise the center of mass could be too far aft, resulting in excessive instability.

5 toggles cargo bay doors

9 toggles fuel cells

10 toggles fuel dump vents, useful for getting rid of fuel just before reentry. May require cargo bay doors to be open.
