The Kerbmaster is a medium-sized transport aircraft constructed using stock parts with the aid of the TweakScale mod, and designed specifically for Ferram Aerospace Research.
I recommend the Atmosphere Autopilot mod as the stock SAS doesn’t make full use of the control surfaces, though it is still relatively easy to fly without this.
You may need to use a ModuleManager config to allow the landing gear to be deployed again because the game considers it stowed when it’s clipped. Install ModuleManager and place this config file in your gamedata folder.
For takeoff, set flaps to position 2 by pressing the ‘3’ key twice
Set the throttle to at least 70%
Rotate gently at 70m/s and retract flaps using the ‘4’ key
For landing, ensure that the airspeed is below 120m/s using the airbrake
Take care when setting flaps to position 3 as this will cause the aircraft to decelerate and potentially stall.
