Description

A mod SSTO called KRS Bacchus. Built with 144 of the finest parts, its root part is Size3LargeTank.

Built in the SPH in KSP version 1.3.0
The Bacchus is a workhorse SSTO with the sole role of taking a full Kerbodyne S3-14400 up to the orbital gas station, and come back in one piece. It relies on brute force to take things up, reaching orbit very easily. However, it’s a bit heavy and can fight back on the way down. There is a delicate balance to maintain and sometimes it’s necessary to move the remaining fuel around. This SSTO is not certified for regular flight because of the sheer amount of power it can put out very quickly. Doing tight turns at high speeds with this compact 280 ton plane is really not recommended.
