Description

The Big Ranger Explorer (BRE) provides the option to haul big modules from the space station down to a celestial body.

This spaceplane is a modified and bigger version of my Silver Dove (the one on top of the BRE).

Whilst it’s roughly 2 times bigger than the Silver Dove, the BRE is much more maneuverable and doesn’t freak out when performing sharp turns. The only downside are the big wings. At a high velocity sharp turns aren’t recommended because they will rip off due to the high Gs.

All in all this thing is fully (re)usable. It can land and take off on any terrain with ease. The belly has plenty of room to add a big booster or an airplane if you wish to use the BRE as a stratolauncher. There’s also room to add vessels on top as the picture shows.

Lastly, you can attach the BRE to a booster for vertical launches like the shuttle used to do. I should also add that during a vertical flight the plane is also very stable and doesn’t flip or twist.
