Kouhai KU-971 production is going to ramp up as it takes up the role for becoming the backbone of airspace defense and primary support platform for offensive air actions. This coincides with the release of Block II of Kouhai that brings heavy fuselage alterations for both maneuverability and bringing slight improvements to radar return reduction.
The platform continues with having small internal weapons carrying capacity while have an heavily uplifted avionics interface as well as an improved seat for better pilot g-resistence.
