This airframe is the result of failing to force branches to go with the same airframe. Although the Hailstorm is a great fighter and meets the requirements of the other branches, but for the Air Force it was in their view much more of compromising to get a new jet. The order restraining them has fallen through and that brought together a new fighter program taking lots from the Hailstorm for a fast development (as well as stealing the name from another program). The Twink is both generic looking but also odd looking single-engine stealth fighter. It adopts many newer advancements and design techniques pushing the very edge of the 5th generation. It is a single seater multirole platform fit to the maneuvering demands of the Air Force.
