< Archer >
A gap that has been in PGS’s force projection for the longest time has been long range bombing with heavy loads. The role has been partially fulfilled in the modern military context by previous stealth bombers, but capacity has always been a limiting factor.
The Archer on the surface seems inadequate for the modern warfare context with the program being pushed solely on a simple fuselage with heavy load capacity and long range. The systems, however, are designed for a long stay and continued multi-decade operation; as for the issue of stealth and battlefront penetration, the large capacity and system support capabilities are meant for highly capable loitering and ranged missile systems for appropriate missions. The Archer still has standard bombing capabilities in low-threat environment, but against a symmetric adversary, the Archer becomes fitting of its name as a beyond visible range missile truck.
