< Block IV >
Block IV of the KU-969 FemboII brings heavy alterations to the airframe for greater radar return reduction. Other systems from control surfaces and gear have had minor alterations to use better designs that have been developed.
< KU-969 FemboII >
The KU-969 should make clear of the lack of cohesion in MSOW’s designation system as despite being the most advanced and latest fighter developed, it somehow recieves a designation lower than the very aged Sandstorm program.
The FemboII is intended to revolutionize air combat and warfare as a whole with not only will it dominate the air but dominate the battlefield as a whole. Its name pays respay to the great 4th generation air dominance fighter with II being integrated into the name. The current Block I model of the FemboII will spearhead the early beginning of MSOW Aerospace Division’s 6th generation efforts. It is quite a larger platform allowing for more weapon capacity while maintaining extreme maneuverability. It has expanded internal systems to allow for better situational awareness as well as networking with other vehicles. It is a two seater aircraft with the second set of controls typically for trainer purposes rather than combat usage for MSOW aircrafts now being able to control unmanned vehicles remotely.
The FemboII takes design cues from many aircrafts like the Femboy to the Sandstorm and Hailstorm and even non-production aircraft like the Subduer program. The FemboII will continue to be developed as the aircraft will serve both as a functional weapons platform as well as research demonstrator with some advances for Block II being improved reduced RCS such as by removing the vertical stabilizers in place of a capable control system.
< Notes >
- This is probably one of my fighters that are most detached from references as it only goes as far as using a layout to NGAD art concepts with the construction mostly coming from experience and designs of other fighters I have made.
- Reduce AoA in yaw axis, extreme AoA can cause stabilator joint failure and loss of control
- There is a great yaw instability due to a rearward CoM for pitch instability. Use caution with yaw and manage yaw carefully.
- There is no dynamic control authority limiter; pulling high-Gs is likely to lead to complete structural failure
- Using SAS Prograde can help in yaw stability when maneuvering
