Description
The F-82 Twin Mustang connects the body of two P-51 Mustangs to form a dual fuselage aircraft. The Twin Mustang was developed as a long-range escort fighter for World War II. Production of the aircraft unfortunately began after the end of the war. The Twin Mustang was able to find use in the Korean War.
One reason the aircraft was designed in such a way to reduce the stress of flying on pilots.
