Description

Although costly, the Catboy serves to become the long term solution to low Kerbin orbit operations with rapid reusability in mind. Most of the services available for the Catboy are designed to be disposable and burn up in reentry with the lifting-body spacecraft allowing for the safe return of the crew and reuse for future missions. The entire system is encased in a fairing that will protect the spacecraft for most of the launch (fitted with a side hatch to allow boarding to the spacecraft). The fairing will deploy and advanced abort motors will fire in case of a launch abort to which the spacecraft can glide to a landing.

Notes:
- On landing, trim full nose down once all wheels make ground contact before applying brakes
- Apply brakes in pulses to avoid loss of lateral control
- On abort, leave SAS on stabilize and RCS on w/ compensating pitch inputs until abort motors deplete
