It was a dreary Wednesday morning when Rambunctious Redneck Rocketry, Inc. lifted the VAB door to unveil the much anticipated and wildly speculated final iteration of RRR’s most successful line of heavy lifters: the Spork X. Also colloquially known by some as simply SPORCK, the Spork X combines the massive liquid-fueled juggernauts of its own series with the Advanced SRBs created for the Kerbin Launch System into one supremely powerful yet
cost-effective heavy lifter whose capacity surpasses even the Spork VIII. The rocket also innovates upper-stage design with an array of seven Vector engines clustered inside the 3.75m profile to provide extra thrust for heavy payloads.
Weighing in at almost two kilotons, the Spork X can lift 325 tons, or 9 orange tanks, to LEO at a price of only $2523 per ton at maximum capacity. There has been criticism from RRR’s competitors that throwing rockets away every time is wasteful and inefficient; but Donald J. Kerman, the CEO of RRR, hopes to prove once and for all that
Reusability is bunk.
The Spork 10 is 100% stock and constructed from 278 parts made of solidified hype.
Maximum payload to LKO: 325t (9 orange tanks)
Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.1.2.
