The Kenergia and Burannott shuttle system redefines the art of rocketry. Combining the best of titantically impractical rockets and objects that shouldn’t be strapped to the sides of said rockets, The Kenergia delivers unmatched lifting power and reusability. While some may say Kenergia is an unstable pile of kerosine and liquid oxygen that should never be allowed near sleepy rocket scientists, family pets, or a launchpad, the brain trust here at Atrociously Ambiguous Aeronautics prefers to think that this only adds to the terrified, undergarment-soiling relief when it performs its mission flawlessly.

The Kenergia is 100% stock and comes default with the Burannott shuttle. It has 148 sketchy parts.

Important!

• This rocket is not for beginners.

• When launching, right click the probe core and click ‘control from here’.

• With Burannott, it tends to lean to the East, as the shuttle’s weight pulls it that way.

• All payloads must be mounted on the side.

• Do NOT touch the internal fuel lines or stack separator, they are used to properly flow fuel around the main tank.

• Despite this, at a point it still will become extremely difficult to control as its center of mass moves down if there is no counterweight.

• Add counterweight as necessary to stabilize its flight with heavy payloads.

• It is set with action groups to toggle certain engines, deploy parachutes, abort, and open the cargobay.

• There are emergency parachutes, batteries, and docking ports inside the cargo bay.

• To abort a launch in-progress, click the abort button or hit backspace (default abort keybind). This will decouple Burannott and automatically make the wing elevons pitch up, pulling it away from Kenergia. Click abort/press backspace again to toggle the elevons back to normal.

• tl;dr Kenergia is not a gentle giant.

Edit 11/6/15: Updated the download to include a better Burannott shuttle. This new one has Reliant engines instead of Swivels because the gimbal ability wasn’t necessary and the extra firepower greatly improves flight stability and minimizes the rate at which the shuttle will pull the vessel over. The new shuttle also has a bigger landing parachute and a new abort action group to automatically pull away from Kenergia.
