Rambunctious Redneck Rocketry, LLC is back in the spotlight with the unveiling of our bold new heavy-lifting design: the Kerbin Launch System Block 2. The Block 2 is the first series in our catalogue to feature advanced SRBs, large boosters that include their own remote guidance system and parachutes for recovery. The question was once again raised by our opponents, If your Spork rocket series already boasts massive launch vehicles, why did you build another?
And we looked them dead in the eye and said… Because we can.
The solid rocket boosters can be recovered as they have the equipment needed to land safely. However, KSP will delete any moving objects within the atmosphere that are outside of a certain range, so as with any other spent stage their recovery isn’t very useful unless you have a mod to save them.

The KLS Block 2 is 100% stock and built with 167 recycled paper parts. It is based on NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) Block 2 design.
Built in the VAB in KSP version 1.0.5.
